Starting Work on the Class System and Survival Gameplay Foundations

This week, we progressed on the class system foundations, survival consumable items, and the first steps of creating the Warrior class.

This week, we made progress on several important gameplay foundations for Legends of Ater.

Part of the work focused on setting up the functions needed to create consumable items linked to the survival system. These foundations will help us gradually introduce items that support character needs, resources, and overall gameplay balancing.

We also started structuring the main functions that will allow us to create future spells, skills, and effects, whether active or passive. This includes effects related to damage, critical chance, and other statistics that can influence how a character plays.

Finally, we began the first steps of creating the Warrior class. This class will serve as our first reference archetype to test the class system, skills, passive effects, and progression before expanding the work to other playable classes.

These systems are still under construction, but they are important foundations for giving each character more identity and preparing the next gameplay updates.
